The World Bank engaged our team to prepare a flagship study on the performance of electricity utilities across sub-Saharan Africa. The study analysed financial and technical performance, as well as assessing the transparency and accountability of each utility. The objective of the study was to establish a framework that allows utilities to compare their performance against that of peers, and thus to identify specific areas where they can improve performance.
