Kuungana reviewed a number of power markets throughout East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda) and Southern Africa (Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique) as input to an evaluation of areas where DFID could fund donor support in those markets.  Subsequent preparation of a business case for DFID to proceed with a programme to address gaps identified through the study.
